Is there anywhere AT ALL online where it lists what WIU hoops games are being offered on various TV networks? It is soooooooooooo hard to follow this team. They have not been good for so long and even if you want to watch you can't even find out if you can or can't.
 
 

We are now at five games in the winning streak. When was the last time that happened? For once we're not sweating out being included in the Summit end-of-season tournament.

This is the most encouraging news I've experienced in a long, long time regarding mens hoops at WIU. Good head coach hire and he, in turn, hires some good, experienced people to help build the program. Finally Finally Finally.

The 5-win season comes to an end with yet another pre-conference tourney elimination before the tourney even begins. Twof of our five wins were against schools that are not D1. If we do not get a new head coach immediately, we might want to consider going to DII ourselves. This is disgusting.

Was encouraged to send Wright another email and cc the athletic director. He replied...thanked me and said he's aware of this player but can't comment. Well, that's at least something.

Alumni mag asks us to recommend students to the university, which I always do. But why don't I even get a perfunctory reply from mens basketball coach Billy Wright when I write him a letter about a conference player of the year who has no D1 offers? Kind of discouraging. 2,000 career varsity points....
